Race Flag — Pieced Offcuts

Sewn together from unused pieces of fabric. Cutting a coat leaves squares of good fabric behind, and this is what I do with them — black selvage and natural cotton, pieced by hand into a checker, bound in black with two snaps at the header so it hangs flat on a wall or a shop door.

Every one is made from whatever the last few coats left over, so no two come out the same. Raw and undistressed, like everything else here.
