A women’s work coat in 11 oz. indigo selvage. The collar is cut with pointed tips — a nod to how women’s clothing has always been finished — and a long dart runs down the back to shape the waist rather than hang straight. Raw and undistressed, made start to finish by one person after you order it. Selvage denim woven in Okayama, Japan and sewn in Nashville, TN.
Cut closer through the waist than the work coat, with room to layer over a shirt.

The collar and the dart
The collar tips are cut to a point rather than squared off — the way women's shirts and coats have been finished for a long time, and a detail most workwear drops when it is resized rather than redrawn.
A long dart runs from the yoke down through the waist at the back. It is what keeps the coat from hanging straight off the shoulders, and it is the reason this is its own pattern instead of a smaller cut of the work coat.

Garment measurements, laid flat, in inches. Chest is measured across the coat one inch below the armhole and doubled.
Wash rarely, cold, inside out, and hang it to dry. Raw indigo will bleed for the first few washes and will keep fading where you bend — that is the fabric doing what it does.
